Our team is looking for a top notch Ruby on Rails Senior developer willing to take on challenging projects. You will be working side by side a distributed team to help build and maintain amazing Rails based e-commerce and SaaS apps.Our ideal candidate is fluent in English, is a great communicator, is able to lead smaller projects by reviewing code, distributing work, meeting with stakeholders and is able to work in a disciplined way in a remote environment. We value honesty, responsibility and self sufficiency.
Requirements of the position:
Experience with Rails (3,4,5)
Experience JavaScript,
Experience with HTML5, CSS3
Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
Automated testing experience (Minitest, Capybara, Rspec)
Experience with Postgres, MySQL or other RDBMS
Experience with Spree/ Solidus is a huge plus
Experience working with background jobs (Sidekiq, delay job or others)
Experience with Heroku is a plus
Experience working with Shopify applications is a big plus
Experience with Front End JS frameworks is a plus (Angular, React, Vue)
Must be comfortable doing both frontend and backend work.
