Funciones del Puesto

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for the supplier management including the selection and maintenance of relationships with a group of international and national companies in support of local production and the development of new products, issuance of purchase orders for materials, equipment, spare parts, services, supplies and others as necessary to convert manufacturing requirements into inventory strategies/tactics and logistical plans.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager in Costa Rica.

Requisitos del Puesto

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration or related field of study.
Specialty in Purchasing or Supply Chain.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in highly regulated industry with progressive responsibilities in Purchasing and Supply Chain.
Experience in leading Strategic Sourcing, Commodity functions.
APICS certification preferred.
Six Sigma / Lean certification preferred.
Fully bilingual English-Spanish.

Experiencia Deseada

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in highly regulated industry with progressive responsibilities in Purchasing and Supply Chain.

• Ability to managing complex materials / suppliers and internal teams.
• Knowledge or prior experience as it relates to data / information exchange throughout supply chain network.
