Funciones del Puesto
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chemistry Teacher with IB experience, located in the Heredia Area. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering effective and engaging International Baccalaureate (IB) Chemistry curriculum as well as regular Chemistry Class. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering classroom instruction, assessing and evaluating student performance, and providing additional academic support to students as necessary. Collaborative work with colleagues to align curriculum and integrate interdisciplinary teaching approaches is expected.
Requisitos del Puesto
• Strong Lesson Planning and classroom management skills
• Knowledge in Chemistry and understanding of related disciplines, such as Physics
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Experience working in an international or diverse educational environment is advantageous
Experiencia Deseada
• Experience working in an international or diverse educational environment is advantageous
Experience in Chemistry Education and Teaching, a focus on the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum is a plus.
Habilidades Deseadas
• Excellent Communication skills and ability to convey concepts effectively to a diverse group of learners
